This English edition is a translation of the mode poster. The poster brings all modes together in a single overview: the child modes, the maladaptive parent modes, the coping modes, and the functional modes. They are colour-coded by group, so you can see at a glance what function each mode serves within the mode model.
Modes on the poster:
- Functional modes: Healthy Adult, Happy Child
- Maladaptive parent modes: Demanding Parent, Punitive Parent
- Child modes: Vulnerable Child, Angry Child, Furious Child, Impulsive Child, Undisciplined Child
- Protective modes (avoidance): Angry Protector, Detached Protector, Detached Self-Soother
- Protective modes (surrender): Compliant Surrenderer
- Protective modes (overcompensation): Perfectionistic Overcontroller, Paranoid Overcontroller, Deceiver and Manipulator, Attention and Approval Seeker, Self-Aggrandiser, Bully and Attack, Predator
Which format suits you?
The A3 talking card (297 × 420 mm) is printed on 300 gsm synthetic paper with a double-sided matte laminate. Sturdier than the A2 poster, and resistant to lots of handling and grubby fingers. Great for picking up and using together in session.
The A2 poster (420 × 594 mm) is printed on 200 gsm paper with a thin matte laminate. Ideal for hanging on the wall of a consulting room or group space.
Skin tone options You can choose between a lighter or darker skin tone for the figures. Please indicate your preference in the options.
In the photos, the prints are shown in a frame for a nicer image: the frame is not included as standard with a print, poster, or talking card. On request I do have frames in stock in dark and light wood, but shipping them is a challenge in itself given how most courier services work. Would you like to order a frame? Drop me an email, especially if you live or work nearby. You can also search for a frame in the right size yourself, online or at a (picture framing) shop. Do pay attention to the exact dimensions: an A3 poster is 29.7 × 42 cm, for example, while standard frames are often slightly different, such as 30 × 40 cm, which means it won't quite fit.
